Today is International Women’s Day and I’m sad. I’m sad that men (and even worse, women) still start sentences with ‘I’m not a feminist, but…’ because they don’t realize that feminism has nothing to do with hating men, it’s just believing that men and women should be treated equally. I’m sad that there’s still so much hate and fear surrounding the topic of birth control despite the fact that most women use it and most men are probably very grateful for it. I’m sad, and this one might surprise you, that women get upset or offended when they hear the word ‘cunt’ and continue to participate in the vilification of the vagina. Your mother has one. It’s just a word people, and it’s a great one. Try saying it. Try yelling it.
